An all encompassing ISO image that contains the latest code levels of eArray Director, controller and enclosure micro code, documentation, and utilities can be obtained by downloading from this link. Individual components of this release can be downloaded from their descriptions in the sections below.
Please be aware that to upgrade from the various code levels there is a matrix of dependency that the DF4000R storage system must observe. It is imperative that process of upgrading be followed completely as described in the respective Upgrade Documents. Please observe the following:
- Flashing codes to earlier revisions is not a supported process. Data loss is possible!
- Upgrades from controller code 8.5 to 9.2 require enclosure services code updates.
- The links below provide the entire package necessary to upgrade including enclosure code, utilities, and documentation of the procedures necessary to perform each upgrade.

The eArray Director™ 2.1 (eAD) is a browser-based, remote configuration and management tool that
supports external RAID controllers. The eArray Director console uses Java™ technology via an applet
running in a supported world wide web browser environment.
OS's supported:
- Windows NT with sp 6A or later
- Windows 2000 SR3 or later
- WindowsXP SR1 or later
- Windows 2003 (32-bit)
- Red Hat Linux 7.2 on x86 platform
- Solaris 8 (patch level 9)
- Solaris 9 on SPARC platform
The server component of this software requires either
of the following HTTP servers: Apache version 2.0.x or
Microsoft® IIS version 5.5 or higher.
