Windows 2000, 2003

1.  Execute setup.exe
2.  The default location for installation on 32-bit windows is C:\Program Files\LSI\SMI-SProvider\, on 64-bit windows it is C:\Program Files (x86)\LSI\SMI-SProvider 


AIX

1.  Copy/Move the AIX_Installer.tar file to any directory.
2.  Execute the following commands from a command prompt in the same directory as the AIX_Installer.tar file:
    a.  tar -xf AIX_Installer.tar
    b.  ./install
3.  The install location for the provider is /opt/LSI/SMI-SProvider/.  Upon installation, the LSI SMI-S Provider will start.


Linux (Red Hat and SuSE)

1.  Copy/Move the Linux_Installer.tar file into any directory.
2.  Execute the following commands from a command prompt in the same directory as the Linux_Installer.tar file:
    a.  tar -xf Linux_Installer.tar
    b.  ./install <or> rpm -vi provider-xx.yy.zz-v.i386.rpm
3.  The install location for the provider is /usr/LSI/SMI-SProvider/.  Upon installation, the LSI SMI-S Provider will start.


Solaris

1.  Copy/Move the Solaris_Installer.tar file into any directory.
2.  Execute the following commands from a command prompt in the same directory as the Solaris_Installer.tar file:
    a.  tar -xf Solaris_Installer.tar
    b.  ./install
3.  The install location for the provider is /opt/LSI/SMI-SProvider/.  Upon installation, the LSI SMI-S Provider will start.
